ECEF and The IBE partnership brings the specialized know-how and the funding required for translational development success. In addition, the IBE provides biomedical researchers and innovators with educational programs and hands-on training that will help them become more aware of how to make their discoveries end up in the marketplace.

The Mission of the EurekaConnect Executive Forum (ECEF) is to provide and apply best practices to create and leverage solutions for the current and ever changing landscape. Through the formation of the pilot Translational Operations Company (TOC) we will design and facilitate the execution of the next generation business model allowing for collaborative efforts, while dramatically accelerating and expanding the lab-to-market flow of life sciences innovations. These steps were accomplished as we are in the process of creating an entity, and analyzing the business plans, that you helped build in September, to put them into practice.

This a unique approach to developing world class companies, we will utilize breakout sessions to search for solutions to industry inefficiencies, complemented by panels and speakers focused on innovation and investment, and allow participants the opportunity to network and learn new methodologies of operation. Our event is the essential fixture on your planning calendar.

We will be holding the second EurekaConnect Executive Forum (ECEF) meeting from April 14-15 in Boston at the Hyatt Boston Harbor Hotel. The meeting will:

  • Facilitate executive networking
  • Update participants on the progress we are making with the Education and Investment initiatives
  • Provide working sessions that will provide participants a chance to shape the ECEF approach
    • Education
    • Operations
    • Capital and Funding
    • Science and Technology

The meeting will also be very informative as we will be hosting a series of panels addressing:

  • Successful biotech models
  • Biotech, pharmaceutical and device companies' need for the ECEF education and investment model and how it will impact their investment in R&D
  • The education model being used by institutions and how the ECEF approach will address the knowledge gap and impact the advancement of science
  • International challenges and interest in the ECEF models
  • Private and public funding sources and strategy
