Without a doubt, the understated gem of the IBE program is the commensurate EurekaConnect Behavioral Dynamics (ECBD) program ...
Recently, a member of Asymmetrex®'s board suggested that I enroll in the Institute for Biomedical Entrepreneurship (IBE) Certificate Program, co-founded by Curtis Sprouse, who is IBE's President. This turned out to be the best advice I have received in a long time. As a mentor for customer-focused venture development myself, I was quite impressed by how well this essential principle for start-up entrepreneurship success was thematically threaded throughout every aspect of IBE's bio-venture development strategy instruction.
The IBE commitment to an intense week of resuming the role of student and mentee, instead of teacher and mentor, resulted in significant growth for me in my understanding of investor attitudes and motivations and the nuts and buts of negotiating investments. The time and effort spent working with Curtis and other instructors and mentors in the program led to me recognizing gaps in my knowledge about targeted customers' value propositions and to developing a much better-informed business model. I left the program with a significantly improved business model and a better-crafted investor pitch deck for attracting investors.
Without a doubt, the understated gem of the IBE program is the commensurate EurekaConnect Behavioral Dynamics (ECBD) program that Curtis leads himself for IBE participants. Though my board member did not mention this feature of the program, it was a major highlight for me. The provided assessment was informative and insightful, and offered concrete strategies for not only improving my effectiveness as the CEO of my company, but also improving the quality of my life while being a more effective CEO. Curtis’s approach to these delicate personal growth and professional development conversations is exemplary, adeptly kind, incisive, and encouraging.
So, whether you are well-experienced or just getting started in bio-entrepreneurship, there are many benefits to be had from IBE and time with Curtis Sprouse.
